Thanks for your interest in volunteering with the Arlington Field of Honor. There are many ways you can help during flag assembly, Field of Honor Setup, serving as a docent, Field of Honor take-down.

 

These opportunities will occur as follows:

 

Flag Assembly – August 24th

Assist with assembling the flags, flagpoles, and tops.

 

Field of Honor Setup – September 6

Includes outlining the field and marking flag locations, driving rebar stakes into the ground, placing the flagpoles with flags onto the stake, and attaching the flag honoree name card to the pole.

 

Serving as Docents –Daily from 9 AM to 7 PM September 7-14

Docents greet visitors, assist them with finding the flag they purchased or that were purchased in their honor, and make on-site flag sales.

 

Field of Honor take-down – September 15

Take down flags, removing rebar stakes from the field, assist honorees and purchasers with receiving their flags.
